WATER QUALITY MEETING COMING UP:
What:  Aquatic Plant Management Discussion for Atwood Lake   
When: Saturday, September 25th, 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Where: Sweetgum Pavilion, Dallas Lake Park

Scott Banfield of Aquatic Enhancement, Inc. will host a meeting for an in-depth discussion of past and present aquatic plant management at Atwood Lake.  There will be visuals presented and a Q and A session.  All Atwood Lake users are welcome to attend.  Attendees will not be required to pay the Dallas Lake Park entrance fee to attend.

Sweetgum Pavillion is located in Dallas Lake Park just Northwest of Atwood Lake.

Welcome to the home page of  Atwood Lake, one of the most relaxing lakes in the Indian Lakes chain! Located in Johnson Township in Lagrange county Indiana, Atwood lake covers 170 acres with a maximum depth of 33 feet. Primarily a shallow lake, Atwood lake is ideal for fishing, swimming and recreational watercraft. Atwood has a public access site located on the south west corner of the lake on county road 745 South and private campground located on county road 800 south. The lake bottom is composed of clay, gravel, marl and muck. The lake has many types of fish, but the best fishing are for bluegill, redear, large mouth bass and black crappie. The posted speed limit is 10 miles per hour.
